fromT shows every font installed on your computer rendering your own text, all at once, right in the browser. It runs on the Local Font Access API, so your font files never leave your machine: no uploads, no accounts, nothing to install.Filter your library by style, category and script (Cyrillic included), heart the finalists and compare them side by side, study a font down to its glyphs and OpenType alternates, overlay it against another one, then hand the shortlist to a client as a PDF or SVG board, or send it straight to Figma as real text layers.

FAQ
The font files never do: the browser's Local Font Access API renders everything on your machine, and nothing is uploaded. What can leave is only what you send yourself — pairing the Figma plugin passes the shortlisted font names and your sample text through the fromT relay (deleted after 30 days, or at once with Disconnect), and a share link uploads preview pictures of the shortlist for 7 days. Font files are in neither.
Chromium on desktop: Chrome, Edge, Opera, Arc. Safari and Firefox haven't implemented the Local Font Access API yet.
No. It only reads the list of installed fonts after you allow it — one permission prompt, revocable in browser settings at any time.
Yes. Coverage detection is built in, so you can filter your library down to fonts that actually support Cyrillic — not just claim to.
The companion fromT plugin picks up your shortlist and applies the fonts to real text layers — a tidy board, not a screenshot.
Nothing. No accounts either — your shortlist lives in your browser and only reaches our relay if you turn on Figma sync.
